A circular floor composition built like a horror poster: everything moves toward the centre, and the centre stares back.

Design Story

The carved pumpkin face sits high in the frame as the focal anchor, its glowing eyes and jagged grin the brightest point in an otherwise cold, blue-grey moonlit field. Beneath it, a burlap-draped figure spreads outward while two enormous clawed hands lunge into the foreground, dragging the viewer's eye down and out toward the edge. Warm amber lantern light punctuates the left and right thirds, balancing the composition against the pale moon at the top. The dark border acts as a clean visual stop, containing the tangled straw, cornstalks and scattered maple leaves so the chaos never spills past the round silhouette.

Room & Styling

Round format suits this artwork: the circular edge frames the lunging pose the way a spotlight would, and the dark rim keeps the motif reading as one contained scene rather than a cropped image. Motif scale is large, so it holds up from standing height — a seasonal room anchor for an entryway or a bare stretch of floor where furniture won't cut across the face or claws.
